The NICHOLLS “on-line” shop provides direct access to the source. This website is our store and
we encourage the visitor to browse, discuss with us and ultimately commission their carpet,
textile or service. David Shaw Nicholls is creative director and with the team, oversees the individual
tailoring with client’s desires and unique specifications inherit to the process.
The quality and technique of each Black Label® hand-knotted carpet is consistent and mastered
in the same family relationship between DSN New York and Nepal which spans over thirty
years. pureloom® is our chemical and dye free process for an honest fabric, whereby all yarn
sorting is essentially hand prepared and scissor finished in clipping, for a finite texture.
Manufacturing is in strict association with goodweave®.
Each piece is numbered and endorsed by the original DSN Artwork, consigned to the client.
